A motorcyclist has died after a collision with a car in Waikato this afternoon.
Police were called to the scene on Lawrence St in Te Kūiti at 1.10pm.
A helicopter flew in after reports one person was in a critical condition.
But this evening, police released a statement to say that the motorcyclist has died.

A scene examination by the serious crash unit has been completed and the road, which was blocked for some time, has since reopened.
