One critically injured in two-car crash south of Whanganui

One person is critically hurt after two cars crashed between Whanganui and Palmerston North.

The crash took place about 7.50am today, with emergency teams now working at the scene on State Highway 3, near Edenmore Rd, Turakina.

“One person is reported to have critical injuries,” police said.

“The road is currently blocked and motorists are asked to take alternative routes where possible, or delay travel.”
