Serious crash on Don Buck Rd, West Auckland, as man rescued from wrecked car

At least two people have been injured in the crash, involving two vehicles. It is understood that a bus was also involved in the collision.

Northern fire communications told the
Herald they were called to the corner of Don Buck Rd and Rush Creek Drive, near Westgate, at 9.18pm.

A spokesman said two vehicles were involved and that a person was trapped in one of the cars. He said firefighters were working to get that person out of the vehicle.

Two fire trucks and an operational support unit are at the scene, he said.
