Meanwhile, footage has emerged showing firefighters battling large flames at a Taupō property earlier this morning.
A Fire and Emergency New Zealand spokesman said the organisation received multiple calls about a fire at Nukuhau just before 6pm on Tuesday.
Three trucks were sent and crews found a shed well involved in fire at a semi-rural property just north of Taupō.
The shed was 2m by 3m.
All people at the property were accounted for and crews left about 8pm after extinguishing the fire, the spokesman said.
A fire investigator was also notified.
Footage of the blaze showed large flames and dark smoke.
A third fire broke out in Taupō earlier this week after a fast-moving vegetation fire forced a business to evacuate and roads to close at Tauhara on Monday.
