Police lift Riddiford St cordon ‘suspicious item’ assessed at Moon Pizza Music and Beer Bar in Wellington

The chaotic scene unfolded about 6.20pm on Riddiford St near Constable St, Newtown, as the area was locked down.

Members of the public were advised to avoid the area as police responded to
the scene.

It is understood the Moon Pizza Music and Beer Bar was placed into lockdown.
