Last night’s $28 million First Division Powerball was not struck and has now rolled over to $30 million for Wednesday’s draw.
However, nine players were able to share $1 million in the First Division draw, each taking home $111,111.
The two players, from Auckland and Hamilton, both purchased their tickets through the MyLotto app.
Meanwhile, one fortunate player in east Auckland secured a $400,000 prize with their Strike Four win.
Previous win for Akl woman
An Auckland woman won $500,000 after finding a stray Lotto ticket at the bottom of her handbag, highlighting the importance of checking your tickets and keeping them in a safe place.
The woman, who wishes to remain anonymous, received a call from Lotto headquarters about an unclaimed prize from a draw on May 31, 2025.
She had several tickets in her bags from previous draws but assumed they had all been checked.
However, after finding a bonus ticket in her handbag, she checked the numbers from a previous draw and found all six matched.
