A serious crash involving three vehicles has closed part of a Canterbury intersection on Friday.
Emergency services responded to the incident between Newtons Road and Dawsons Road in Templeton this afternoon.
Police said initial indications suggest there are serious injuries.
The road is closed while emergency services are in attendance.
Motorists are advised to follow diversions and expect delays.
