A staff
member at Physio Link, across the road from Glenfield Mall, said a police cordon had been set up directly outside the clinic’s entrance.
“We have no idea what’s going on, we haven’t been told anything,” he said.
The cordon prevented staff from leaving through the front entrance and some clients had to be let out the back after their appointments. However, he described the disruption as a “non-issue”.
The staff member said two police officers remained at the scene shortly before 7pm and appeared to be interviewing about four people.
An ambulance that had been at the scene earlier had since left, he said.
Hato Hone St John has been approached for comment.
